ilna AI Software Technology - FZCO is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you interact with our websites, platform, and services worldwide.

ilna AI Software Technology - FZCO is a technology company based in the United Arab Emirates providing AI-powered voice and text automation for businesses globally.

We may act as either:
 

  •  a Data Controller – when we determine why and how personal data is processed; or

  •  a Data Processor – when processing personal data on behalf of business customers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account & Business Data: Name, company, email, phone, billing address – Purpose: Account creation, authentication, billing

 

Communications Data: Messages, voice recordings, chat logs, WhatsApp or SMS threads – Purpose: Delivering our conversational AI services

 

Technical Data: IP address, device ID, browser type, operating system, cookies – Purpose: Platform operation, analytics, security

 

Usage Data: Feature usage, time stamps, interaction patterns – Purpose: Product improvement, analytics

 

Marketing Data: Preferences, contact details, engagement metrics – Purpose: Sending optional updates (with consent)

 

Client-Customer Data: End-user contact details, bookings, chat transcripts – Purpose: Processed only on behalf of our business clients

 

We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal data to:

  • Legal Obligation – to comply with laws and tax rules;

  • Consent – for marketing or optional features (you may withdraw anytime).

5. International Data Transfers

Because ilna AI operates globally, information may be processed in the UAE, EU, UK, United States, Canada, or other countries.

We use approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK Addendum, or other lawful mechanisms to ensure equivalent protection.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:

  • deliver the Services,

  • meet legal obligations, and

  • resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We share data only as needed to provide our Services:

Service Providers / Sub-Processors: trusted partners such as Twilio, AWS, Google Cloud, OpenAI API, payment processors, and analytics vendors.

Business Clients: if you interact with a business using ilna AI, your data may be shared with that business as part of the conversation or booking flow.

Legal Requirements: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

Corporate Transactions: in connection with mergers or acquisitions (subject to confidentiality safeguards).

We never "sell" personal data as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, secure sessions, and analyze traffic.

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures:

European Economic Area & United Kingdom

ilna AI complies with the GDPR and UK GDPR. Data subjects may contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@ilna.ai or their local supervisory authority.

United States

We comply with state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, Virginia CDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut DPA, Utah UCPA). US residents can exercise CCPA rights and opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" by emailing privacy@ilna.ai or using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer.

Canada

We comply with PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws (Alberta PIPA, BC PIPA, Quebec Law 25).

Canadian users may contact us for information about cross-border transfers or to withdraw consent.

United Arab Emirates / GCC

We adhere to UAE Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and relevant free-zone regulations.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are for business use and are not directed to children under 18.

We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@ilna.ai for removal.

13. Data Processing Agreement Reference

When ilna AI processes personal data on behalf of a business customer, the processing is governed by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) incorporated into our Terms of Service (Section 13).

That DPA forms part of this Privacy Policy by reference.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal or operational changes.

Updates become effective upon posting the revised version with a new "Last Updated" date.

Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
